What we do

BatX is not a waste broker or a trading desk. We operate physical recycling infrastructure — automated collection, mechanical preprocessing, black mass production, and hydrometallurgical refining — to deliver materials that meet global specifications.

Recover

Extract lithium carbonate, cobalt sulphate, nickel sulphate, and manganese carbonate from spent lithium-ion batteries at 97–99% efficiency.

Supply

Deliver battery-grade materials to cathode manufacturers, cell makers, and industrial buyers — domestically and for export.

    Founded in Gurugram

    Utkarsh Singh and Vikrant Singh established BatX to solve India's growing end-of-life battery challenge with indigenous technology.

  2. 2022

    Pilot to commercial scale

    Scaled from pilot operations to factory-grade processing with support from investors and the Technology Development Board.

  3. 2024

    HUB-1 inaugurated

    Opened the Critical Minerals Extraction facility in Sikandrabad, Uttar Pradesh — processing up to 5,100 MT of batteries annually.

  4. Today

    Hub-and-spoke expansion

    Operating a network of collection spokes feeding central hydrometallurgical recovery — with seven patents filed and two granted.
